Newgrange, seen in the pictures above is a prehistoric tomb and temple an hour north of Dublin in Meath (predating both Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids). The passage and doorways align with the rising sun on the winter solstice, creating a beam of light that shines on the centerstone inside.
